Project Description Pseudomonas syringae pv. syringae strain B728a. This strain is the causal agent of brown spot disease on beans. This strain exhibits an epiphytic phase on plants that subsequently invades and causes disease. It was isolated from a snap bean leaflet in Wisconsin. It can also nucleate ice at temperatures above the freezing point.
