Project Description | Antibiotic resistance is an increasing global problem with significant impact on human health. This problem is aggravated by the emergence of resistance in the natural environment. Pseudomonas bacteria is a Gram-negative, rod-shaped, non-fermenting bacterium that is ubiquitously encountered in the environment. The common human pathogens in this genus include the type species, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, and Pseudomonas putida. In this project, we collected clinical isolates of Pseudomonas species from clinical settings in Japan. And we will sequence and analyze these isolates. |
