Project Title | Complete genome sequence of Pseudomonas aeruginosa IOMTU133 |
Released | 2015-11-26 |
Project Database | BioProject |
Project Accession | PRJDB4304 |
Organism Name | Pseudomonas aeruginosa |
Project Description | Multidrug-resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa has become a threating nosocomial pathogen worldwide. P. aeruginosa IOMTU133 clinical isolate harbors a metallo-beta-lactamase encoding gene DIM-1 and a novel 16S rRNA methylase encoding gene rmtF2, which are associated with highly multidrug-resistance. In order to clarify the mechanism of the acquisition of drug-resistant genes, the complete genome sequence of the IOMTU133 was determined. |
