Organism Name | Pseudomonas aeruginosa |
Project Description | Multidrug-resistant Pseudomonas aeruginosa has become a threating nosocomial pathogen worldwide. P. aeruginosa NCGM1900 clinical isolate harbors a metallo-beta-lactamase gene blaIMP-34 and aminoglycoside 6'-N-acetyltransferase gene aac(6')-Ib, which are associated with highly multidrug-resistance. In order to clarify the mechanism of the acquisition of drug-resistant genes, the complete genome sequence of the NCGM1900 was determined. |
